Residential Certification Services

After securing Development Approval (DA) from your local council, a Construction Certificate is required prior to starting physical building work. We assess detailed construction plans and specifications to confirm consistency with DA consent conditions and compliance with the Building Code of Australia (BCA).

Certain residential developments meeting specific criteria under the State Environmental Planning Policy (SEPP) can be approved through a Complying Development Certificate, eliminating the need for a separate council DA. We assess plans directly against relevant code requirements.

An Occupation Certificate authorises the occupation and use of a new building or completed alteration. Issued when the PCA is satisfied that building work meets statutory standards and all mandatory inspections have passed.

Throughout your development, statutory critical stage inspections must be conducted by your nominated Principal Certifying Authority (PCA). We inspect key milestones including footings, slab, framework, wet area waterproofing, and final completion.

Under NSW swimming pool safety laws, properties with a pool or spa require a valid Certificate of Compliance or Certificate of Non-Compliance prior to sale or lease. We conduct barrier safety inspections and issue compliance documentation.
