Occupation Certificates (OC)
Authorising the lawful occupation and use of your new residential dwelling, renovation, or building structure.
What is an Occupation Certificate?
An Occupation Certificate (OC) is the final statutory document issued by the Principal Certifying Authority (PCA) upon completion of building work approved under a Construction Certificate (CC) or Complying Development Certificate (CDC).
It verifies that the PCA is satisfied that the building is suitable to be occupied, is safe, and complies with approved development plans and relevant statutory conditions.
